Hi,
I have started this site because our son got married this year and our daughter is getting married in 2012. We are so happy about that and we want (no wonder) grand kids. We want to collect information for my daughter and daughter-in-law how to stay healthy and happy while they are carrying the babies (our grandchildren!!!)
I want to collect the information of everything I’ve done that worked and the information I’ve found on the Internet that I think would work. Keep in mind however that I am not a doctor and my information on this site should not be used as professional guidance.
I always loved sport and physical activity has always been a big part of my life. In school I was in a team focused on and dedicated to achieving a high level of gymnastic performance. I’ve started swimming and jumping from the small sea cliff when I was 4 years old.
I still enjoy swimming in the ocean even if water is not calm. I enjoyed biking a long distances with my father. I skate and ski and what I like the most now is hiking with the camera in my hands.
And I do believe that all kinds of aerobics improve mental and physical health. I had a stroke when I was very young. And I pulled myself back to life by only doing yoga exercises and taking vitamins. I could barely move my right arm and right leg and now I enjoy playing tennis with the same arm that lost functionality for a while.
Besides, all types of exercises if they are not very intense give you so much joy, great happiness and pleasure and of course keep you healthy.
Sometimes you do exercises just to support your muscles if you spent most of the day seating.
I asked once my friend: ”What is most exiting thing of running?” He answered “The finish”. Well, some people do exercises that way, but I hope he still runs every morning and stays healthy.
